Home and Community Based Services Aide (CNA)

About the role

Idaho Home Health and Hospice, part of the Optum family of businesses, is hiring a Home and Community Based Services Aide in Twin Falls, Idaho. The aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions so that individuals can stay in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs and incidents, maintain confidentiality and use the EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly and respond promptly to client needs
• Work in any home situation regardless of the client's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability or financial condition

Required profile

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation, or access to public transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently
• Preferred: current CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire, and 6+ months of home care experience

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $14.00 to $23.85 for full-time employment, depending on factors such as local labor market, education, experience and certifications
