About the role
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking experienced high school tutors specialized in math and science to provide in‑home and online support aligned with the Louisiana curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Empower students with academic support based on the Louisiana curriculum.
- Develop customized learning plans that promote deep understanding.
- Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities tailored to each student.
- Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, challenges, and successes.
Required profile
- Current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education or a qualified U.S. teacher (or teacher‑candidate).
- Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
