About the role

The school seeks a dedicated High School French Teacher to deliver district‑approved curriculum, foster academic growth, and create a safe, engaging learning environment for secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver French curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Design lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning experiences that maximize instructional time.
• Assess student progress continuously and adapt instruction for individual and special‑needs learners.
• Promote responsible citizenship and adhere to school policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and encourage their involvement.
• Supervise students during out‑of‑classroom activities and school transportation.
• Administer standardized tests according to district procedures.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams, attend faculty meetings, and participate in committees.
• Select and manage instructional supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• Experience teaching high‑school students, preferably in French language instruction.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.
