Healthcare Specialist – Remote AI Evaluation (up to $100/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a qualified Healthcare Specialist to join its remote team and evaluate AI‑generated medical responses. You will work part‑time (10–20 hours per week) to ensure that model outputs meet real‑world clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and compare AI‑generated answers to complex medical questions.
• Analyze model reasoning for accuracy, safety, and alignment with evidence‑based practice.
• Explain why one output is superior, focusing on clinical correctness and reasoning quality.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model behavior.
• Participate in onboarding and calibration sessions to maintain evaluation standards.

Required profile

• MD, DO, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice.
• Proficiency in applying current clinical guidelines and evidence‑based medicine.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and clinical expertise.
