Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consultant (Part‑time)

About the role

FYHBA Medical Billing is seeking a part‑time Consultant to help healthcare clients optimise their revenue cycle. You will evaluate existing processes, identify performance gaps and deliver data‑driven recommendations that enhance financial outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client revenue‑cycle workflows and documentation.
• Analyse financial reports, KPIs and operational metrics to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present clear, actionable recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client leadership to implement best‑practice solutions.
• Support change‑management activities and monitor the impact of implemented initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, resolve issues and keep abreast of billing regulations and industry trends.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare revenue‑cycle management, medical billing or practice operations, preferably in a consulting capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on financial data interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance or a related field; certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
