Healthcare Instructor – Hybrid (Vermont)

About the role

JobForward, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Instructor to inspire adult learners and guide them through engaging, competency‑based training. This hybrid position combines onsite instruction with virtual support, allowing you to develop innovative curricula and foster a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine curriculum using reverse‑engineering of job roles to create logically sequenced training.
• Participate in building the occupational apprenticeship framework, identifying work competencies and instructional outlines.
• Deliver and facilitate both existing and newly created curriculum for apprenticeship participants.
• Mentor and support students throughout the training program and the one‑year apprenticeship.
• Collaborate with employer partners to coordinate all aspects of training.
• Set performance standards, assist with participant selection, and address individual needs.
• Support learners from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Perform additional duties aligned with the organization’s non‑profit mission.

Required profile

• Experience in higher‑education teaching, instructional design, or adult learning.
• Strong ability to develop curriculum and instructional materials.
• Excellent mentorship and student‑support skills.
• Comfort working with diverse populations and employer partners.
• Passion for education and workforce development.
