About the role
The Health Unit Coordinator provides essential support on the H80 Internal Medicine Telemetry unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, working nights to ensure smooth patient flow and unit operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet, orient and welcome newly admitted or transferred patients.
- Respond to patient call lights, make rounds, and assist with wayfinding.
- Process admissions, transfers and discharges, and maintain patient medical records.
- Perform unit clerical functions and troubleshoot equipment such as call systems, portable phones and WOW devices.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a customer‑service related role.
- Ability to perform frequent data entry, stand and walk for extended periods, and use standard PPE.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Typing and basic computer training.
