Health Science Core & CNA/PCT Instructor

About the role

Savannah Technical College seeks a full‑time Health Science Core and CNA/PCT Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for allied health and nurse aide programs. The position supports student progression into advanced health science studies or direct entry into the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for core health science and nurse aide/patient care courses.
• Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
• Advise, register, and mentor health sciences students, including recruitment and job placement support.
• Participate in departmental and college committees, curriculum development, and budget planning.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a health‑care field and an unencumbered Georgia LPN or RN license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Bachelor’s degree and RN license preferred, along with teaching experience in post‑secondary health programs.

Required skills

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
• Experience using a Learning Management System, preferably Blackboard Ultra.
