Health Management Intern - Employer Services

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Health Management Intern on its Employer Services team. The internship gives students hands-on experience in business, risk management and insurance, focusing on the tools needed for Client Management or Sales career pathways. It is open to students pursuing a degree in health and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the local team to create content for seminars, webinars, communication campaigns and other programs supporting clients on health and well-being topics.
• Take part in meetings and trainings alongside Health Management consultants to see what their work looks like.
• Apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction.

Required profile

• Student pursuing a degree in health and wellness (dietetics/nutrition management, kinesiology, health promotion, exercise physiology, corporate wellness/fitness or public health).
• Detailed and organized, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work both on a team and independently.
• Professional conduct and the ability to build positive working relationships with management, employees and peers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
