About the role
The College of Engineering at the University of Miami is launching a strategic cluster hire in Health Engineering. The initiative seeks faculty across several interdisciplinary areas to support new research and teaching programs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead research programs in emerging health‑engineering fields.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to health engineering.
- Collaborate with partners in the Miller School of Medicine, Rosenstiel School, and other university units.
- Secure external funding and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in an engineering, biomedical, or related discipline.
- Strong record of research and publications.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Commitment to teaching and mentorship.
