About the role

This is a unique opportunity to build a talent acquisition function from the ground up in a fast‑scaling, high‑growth company. As the first dedicated hiring leader, you will shape how the organization attracts, evaluates, and hires top talent across all functions while working closely with founders and senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end recruitment for engineering, product, sales, customer success, growth, operations, and leadership roles.
  • Design and implement the entire talent acquisition infrastructure, including ATS setup, sourcing strategy, interview frameworks, scorecards, calibration systems, and hiring analytics.
  • Run full‑cycle recruiting hands‑on: sourcing, outreach, screening, coordination, negotiation, and closing.
  • Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate talent bar, and align hiring priorities.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies that leverage outbound outreach, referrals, communities, and creative channels.
  • Own the candidate experience, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality journey aligned with company values.
  • Build and evolve employer branding and hiring narratives to support long‑term talent attraction.
  • Implement data‑driven recruiting practices, tracking pipeline health, conversion rates, time‑to‑hire, and quality‑of‑hire metrics.
  • Establish scalable systems and processes that will serve as the foundation for future talent acquisition team expansion.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high‑growth startup environments (Seed to Series C).
  • Proven ability to hire across multiple functions, including technical, GTM, and leadership roles.
  • Experience building or significantly contributing to early‑stage talent acquisition functions with a “founding recruiter” mindset.
  • Strong sourcing expertise with a track record of engaging passive candidates without heavy reliance on inbound applications or agencies.

Required skills

  • Experience implementing and managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Expertise in designing sourcing strategies and interview frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and drive data‑based improvements.
