Head of Strategic BD & Partnerships - North America

About the role

Axiom is recruiting a Head of Strategic BD & Partnerships for a global digital asset infrastructure business expanding into North America. The role leads US go-to-market efforts, builds high-value institutional partnerships and drives growth across stablecoins, digital assets and cross-border payments. It is based in New York City or Miami on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the go-to-market strategy across the US, Canada and Latin America.
• Originate, negotiate and close strategic deals with banks, fintechs, payment providers and institutional clients.
• Build partnerships with stablecoin issuers, custodians, exchanges and liquidity providers.
• Establish banking relationships and secure key commercial partnerships.
• Work with senior leadership to shape product, pricing and commercial strategy.
• Build the US partnerships ecosystem and help scale the team.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships or institutional sales across financial services, fintech, payments or financial infrastructure.
• Proven track record of closing complex deals with US financial institutions.
• Established network across banks, fintechs, payments or crypto.
• Experience building new markets or commercial functions, able to operate both strategically and hands-on.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US banking and payment rails.
• Understanding of stablecoins and digital asset infrastructure.

What we offer

• Base salary of $200K-$230K for NYC-based candidates, plus performance-based compensation and long-term incentives; Miami packages vary by location and experience.
