Head of Production & Operations

About the role

Miaou, a fashion brand celebrated for its fit‑focused denim and coordinated collections, is seeking an experienced leader to own the end‑to‑end product execution process—from development through delivery. The role will shape production strategy, manage vendor relationships, and drive operational improvements across domestic and international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full production lifecycle from pre‑production to final delivery.
• Manage domestic and international manufacturing partners across denim, knits, outerwear and other categories.
• Establish production calendars, milestones and delivery timelines; monitor work‑in‑progress and mitigate risks.
• Drive improvements in on‑time delivery performance and production efficiency.
• Develop and implement robust production processes and communication protocols.
• Manage vendor and factory relationships, evaluate performance, negotiate costs and secure capacity.
• Oversee fabric reservations, trim purchasing and raw material inventory to ensure availability.
• Establish quality standards, oversee QC processes and ensure compliance before shipment.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Planning, Sales and Finance teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing premium apparel production, preferably in denim, knits and outerwear.
• Strong understanding of full‑package manufacturing, costing, sourcing and supply‑chain management.
• Proven track record of delivering products on time, within quality standards and margin expectations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with design, merchandising, planning, sales and finance.
