Head of Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

TAR is building the world’s first off‑grid power plants for data centers using renewable technologies. As Head of Procurement & Supply Chain you will own the end‑to‑end sourcing of every physical component needed to power these massive installations, ensuring that lead times are dramatically compressed to meet aggressive deployment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement across all categories including power electronics, modules, BESS, gensets, transformers, switchgear, heavy machinery, tooling, and warehouse space.
• Compress lead times by securing factory allocations, using secondary or grey‑channel suppliers, splitting orders, and expediting freight.
• Manage long‑lead items as a dedicated workstream, identifying them early and placing orders ahead of schedule.
• Source FEOC‑clean equipment to satisfy ITC eligibility requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, logistics providers, and strategic partners.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to align delivery schedules with project milestones.

Required profile

• Proven track record in high‑velocity procurement for large‑scale hardware or infrastructure projects.
• Scrappy, relentless mindset with a focus on getting results faster than the market expects.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Experience navigating complex supply chains, including secondary markets and allocation management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to devise creative workarounds for tight timelines.
