Head of Marketing

About the role

Lead the growth of Sagetap's executive community by building a scalable, data‑driven marketing engine that attracts, activates, and retains senior technology leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end acquisition funnels, including CRM integration, attribution, automation, and dashboard reporting.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of growth channels: executive events, paid digital campaigns, partnerships with VC firms and executive communities, and referral mechanisms.
• Turn proprietary Sage Signal data into shareable content and partner with the Sr. Content Marketing Manager to expand the weekly newsletter.
• Convert advocacy into a sustainable channel by empowering top Sages to share their stories.
• Own activation metrics, ensuring new Sages complete a first session, and continuously optimize cost per activation.
• Create and manage a modest budget, scaling experiments with vendor and VC sponsorships.

Required profile

• Operator mindset with hands‑on experience building marketing operations and data‑driven decision making.
• AI‑forward approach to marketing, able to demonstrate past AI‑enabled projects.
• Creative storyteller who can turn data points into compelling, shareable content.
• Strong writer comfortable engaging senior tech leaders such as CISOs without a script.
• Track record of building demand where the audience is scarce, e.g., marketplaces or executive networks.

Required skills

• Marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Data analysis and dashboard tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Experience with paid digital advertising platforms.
• Event planning and partnership development.
