About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a board‑certified Gynecologic Oncologist to join its faculty. This position combines clinical care, research, and education within a collaborative health‑care environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecologic oncology clinical services, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with other specialists.
- Develop and conduct clinical and translational research projects.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in obstetrics and gynecology and oncology.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Required profile
- Medical Doctor (MD) or DO with board certification in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Active medical license in the United States.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, research, and education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Expertise in surgical management of gynecologic cancers.
- Proficiency in chemotherapy and radiation therapy planning.
- Experience with clinical research methodology and grant writing.
