Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent greets, registers and assists guests in a friendly manner while upholding hotel brand and sustainability standards. This frontline position ensures smooth check‑in/out processes and contributes to overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, assign rooms and verify payment methods.
• Make, confirm and modify reservations using the PMS system.
• Compute bills, collect payments, handle cash and provide change.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve complaints or escalate to a supervisor.
• Secure valuables, assist with luggage, and support the breakfast area during peak periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management system (PMS) software.
