GTM Engineer
Albi · Chicago
Job description
About the role
A GTM Engineer is needed to bring in more qualified demand and raise the efficiency of the go-to-market motion. The role owns the technical systems that turn buyer intent into booked, qualified pipeline across revenue teams, closes the tech lag in the funnel, gets more out of HubSpot and builds the connective tissue across the GTM stack. It is a builder's role: the data is already available but under-used, and the job is to make it work through routing, automation, intent signals and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build GTM systems and workflows in HubSpot and across the stack, including intent signaling, lead routing, scheduling and speed-to-lead.
- Improve the tech stack implementation and expand use of HubSpot Marketing & Sales Enterprise.
- Build nurture and follow-up automation across the funnel.
- Build skills and a knowledge bank using Claude.
- Run day-to-day data enrichment, lead scoring and data hygiene.
- Support attribution and reporting by building the shared model and dashboards.
- Audit and consolidate the GTM tool stack to remove sprawl, and support the team with workflows and data-integrity SLAs.
- Produce insights and analysis on GTM motions and where to improve them.
Required profile
- Built tech-forward GTM motions (routing, lifecycle, automation, integrations) in a major CRM/automation stack such as HubSpot, Salesforce or equivalent; does not just brief an agency.
- HubSpot from day one; deep HubSpot mastery is a strong plus.
- Experience reading intent signals and funnel conversion and tying systems work to revenue outcomes.
- 2-4 years of hands-on GTM engineering, RevOps, marketing- or sales-ops experience.
- Tech industry experience (SaaS not required).
- Based in the Chicago metro area; hybrid, in-office-first role.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or a closely related field.
Required skills
- Nice to have: HubSpot Marketing & Sales Enterprise at admin/architect level.
- Nice to have: SQL, Python, APIs, Clay or other enrichment tools.
- Nice to have: intent platforms (Warmly, 6sense, Common Room) and built AI agents / Claude workflows.
- Nice to have: owned an attribution model and dashboards, or consolidated a bloated tool stack.
What we offer
- Salary of $110K-$150K commensurate with experience, with OTE tied to targets and flexible PTOW.
- Work-from-anywhere days.
- Generous parental leave.
- Medical, dental and vision coverage.
- 401(k) with matching.
- Equipment budget, continuing education, mentorship and career development.
