Group Therapist – PRN (Hourly)

About the role

Connections Wellness Group seeks a PRN Group Therapist to facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This part‑time position supports patients in PHP and IOP programs, helping them build coping skills and move toward long‑term wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for diverse patient populations.
• Develop, update, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in a dynamic treatment team and contribute to curriculum development.
• Maintain PRN availability calendar, respond to coverage requests within 48 hours, and attend required trainings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Current, unencumbered clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC) in the state of practice.
• Experience with mental health and substance‑use disorders, including dual‑diagnosis, across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.
• Adherence to HIPAA, mandated reporting, and other regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based group therapy techniques.
• Ability to create and implement holistic curricula.
