Groundskeeper/Porter for Student Living Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter ensures the community’s grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean, safe, and well‑maintained, supporting the service team and enhancing curb appeal for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain those storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist the make‑ready specialist, and change locks according to policy.
• Ensure pool gates function safely and distribute resident notices as needed.
• Report hazards, respond to resident questions and complaints, and follow safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and communicate respectfully with residents and team members.

Required skills

• Operating a golf cart safely on site.
