Groundskeeper/Porter for Artessa at Quarry Village

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Artessa community at Quarry Village. The role supports the service team by keeping common areas clean, handling minor service requests, and ensuring all amenities meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet waste from common areas and amenities.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and keep storage areas tidy.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
