Groundskeeper / Porter for Sanctuary Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the appearance and safety of the Sanctuary at Eagle Creek community. This onsite role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and vacant units clean and orderly.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, ensuring all common areas remain tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and keep storage areas clean.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents or incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness.
