Groundskeeper/Porter for Sanctuary at Eagle Creek

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained, keeping grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal in good condition while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑over.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, with on‑call duties as needed.
