About the role

As a Greeter at RWB Thrift, you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while supporting loss‑prevention initiatives. Your presence at the entrance helps ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every customer entering the store with a friendly attitude.
• Monitor the sales floor to spot and address potential loss‑prevention issues.
• Enforce store policies, such as asking customers to leave large bags or backpacks at the counter.
• Answer customer questions, provide directions, and assist with basic inquiries.
• Collaborate with staff to report incidents and support loss‑prevention efforts.
• Maintain a visible presence at the entrance to deter theft.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to all store guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
• Ability to stay vigilant and detail‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb occasionally.
