Gray Eagle Maintenance Instructor

About the role

AOC Global Services is hiring a full-time Gray Eagle Maintenance Instructor in Huachuca City. The instructor develops, tests, maintains and delivers moderately complex training programs, keeps training records and stays current with equipment, software and training technologies used by the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain and deliver moderately complex training programs, establishing and reviewing course content as needed
• Maintain records of training activities, participant progress and flight information, and update course documentation regularly
• Stay current with new training, educational and multimedia technologies, and with the equipment and software used by the customer
• Participate in special projects within the scope of the Performance Work statement (PWS)
• May operate or instruct the customer's UAS platforms depending on training throughput

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years' documented experience maintaining the Gray Eagle UAS
• Experience with the U.S. Army or other government contracting agencies
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current active U.S. Secret clearance
• Physical ability to climb and descend stairs, stand up to 50 minutes, walk 100 meters on uneven ground, lift up to 25 pounds alone or more in a team, and push aircraft over 300 pounds once fueled; also performs refueling and petroleum, oil and lubricant operations
• Ability to perform shift work when required

Preferred requirements

• Prior TRADOC or equivalent instructor experience
• Prior military or contract license for government/military vehicles and equipment
• Familiarity with ISO-certified quality management systems
• Aviation experience in unmanned aircraft system training, development and operations
