Graphic Designer – Fashion Apparel

About the role

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join a leading fashion company in New York City. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to create seasonal graphic concepts that reinforce brand identity and drive business results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead creative exploration and execution of graphic design concepts within assigned apparel categories, ensuring brand consistency.
• Design original, trend‑right artwork aligned with seasonal direction and brand aesthetics.
• Develop unique typographic treatments, illustrations, and layout solutions for apparel applications.
• Own graphic direction for assigned product categories and partner with the Design team for cohesive seasonal storytelling.
• Research and interpret design trends using social media platforms, market analysis, and historical data.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to deliver designs meeting creative and business objectives.
• Use digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro) to brainstorm, present, and refine concepts.
• Prepare and present trend and inspiration boards to communicate seasonal design vision.
• Maintain organized digital design libraries and reference materials.
• Adapt and finalize approved artwork for production, ensuring timely execution with the corporate calendar.
• Present design concepts and seasonal assortments to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience designing graphics for men’s apparel such as knits, tees, fleece, polos, etc.
• Proven ability to develop innovative, brand‑right graphic concepts and typography.
• Strong sketching and illustration skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and passion for creative excellence.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work (required).
