Graduate Designer – Architecture Studio

About the role

GHD is seeking a Graduate Designer to join its Architecture Design Studio in Anchorage, AK. You will work on a variety of architectural projects from concept through construction, gaining hands‑on experience in design, BIM, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural plans, material selections, finishes, and construction details.
• Create and review engineering drawings under senior guidance.
• Assist with feasibility studies, bid analysis, and technical surveys.
• Support BIM modelling and layout design for building projects.
• Provide construction advice in line with regulations and best practices.
• Participate in personal capability building through training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Architecture, Design, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (three days onsite).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
