About the role
Join our Anchorage office as a Structural Engineer focused on heavy civil and industrial projects. You will work on a variety of building and infrastructure structures, applying innovative design solutions that positively impact communities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and assist in analysis, design, and review of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct inspections and condition assessments of existing structures and produce technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, geotechnical, surveying, and MEP consultants.
- Support project management, client communication, and proposal preparation for business development.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis (ABET‑accredited); M.S. preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in structural analysis and design, preferably with buildings or waterfront structures.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software and strong knowledge of loads, design codes, and construction practices.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset, willingness to travel for fieldwork, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with good record.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- Competitive base salary ranging from $81,000 to $131,000 annually, DOE.
- All overtime paid at 1.5× the regular rate.
