About the role
Fairborn City Schools is seeking two enthusiastic Grade 5 teachers for a one‑year fixed‑term assignment at Fairborn Intermediate School. This position offers the opportunity to shape the academic experience of middle‑grade students in a supportive community.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Ohio Grade 5 curriculum across core subjects.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress, maintain records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance instructional practices.
Required profile
- Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license.
- Commitment to a one‑year term.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
