Google Ads Specialist

About the role

Thryv, a work-from-anywhere company that helps small businesses automate their operations, is looking for a Google Ads Specialist. The role guides clients through their Google Ads campaigns, coordinates the resources needed to show digital and product expertise, and is measured by campaign performance goals, client satisfaction and growth and retention of the client base. Interviews are held in English and the position requires bilingual communication (English and Spanish).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver performance materials for monthly client review calls.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to educate clients, give recommendations and build their confidence in their digital programs.
• Coordinate internal reviews with experts and engage cross-functional colleagues during campaign set-up.
• Support the creation of content and targeting profiles for social ads and assist with their setup.
• Monitor, measure and analyze performance against objectives and KPIs, optimizing campaigns as needed.
• Ensure accurate tracking using tools such as Facebook Pixels, Conversions API, Call Tracking, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Assist in developing proposals for new and renewal programs and help fulfill contracts accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Facebook Blueprint certification (or ability to obtain it).
• Understanding of Facebook and LinkedIn advertising, analysis and reporting; ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
• Must complete pre-employment screening and any required training or orientation.

Required skills

• SEM, SEO, websites, listings management, social media and display advertising.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom and Excel.
• Data analytics and ability to turn client needs into media strategies.
