Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist – Indiana

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to drive growth of its ocular health portfolio across Indiana. This remote, field‑based position focuses on building trusted partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, allied health professionals, and key accounts while delivering clinical product education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, optometrists, and key decision‑makers.
• Educate customers on Alcon’s glaucoma portfolio through in‑person visits, presentations, and speaker programs.
• Identify growth opportunities using market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Marketing, and Regional Sales Leadership.
• Utilize data and insights to create account strategies that drive results.
• Manage a geographically dispersed territory with extensive travel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical or medical sales experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Residence within the Indiana territory.
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
