Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist – Charlotte & Western NC

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to build trusted partnerships and promote its ocular health portfolio across the Greater Charlotte and Western North Carolina region. This remote, field‑based position requires residence within the territory and offers the chance to grow a dynamic healthcare market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive territory growth and achieve sales objectives through strategic account planning and management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and key healthcare providers.
• Educate customers on Alcon’s glaucoma portfolio and support product adoption via clinical discussions and presentations.
• Conduct regular in‑person visits, speaker programs, and customer events.
• Identify growth opportunities using market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 10 years, associate + 6 years, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales or account‑management experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 100% within the assigned territory.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable operating independently in a field‑based environment.
