Geriatric Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Home Care

About the role

BAYADA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate, one‑on‑one care for geriatric clients in the Charlotte area. You will support daily living activities and promote independence while working within a supportive Assistive Care team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care according to a RN‑written plan.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use mechanical lifting devices safely.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
• Successful completion of a recognized CNA training program and current certification.
• Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for home caregiving.
• Ability to travel to client homes in Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson counties.

Required skills

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• Basic knowledge of vital sign measurement and safe patient handling techniques.
