About the role
We are seeking a skilled General Tort Attorney to join our fully remote litigation team. The role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated tort matters while enjoying the flexibility of working from anywhere.
Key responsibilities
- Manage general tort cases from intake through discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.
- Draft pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and settlement demands.
- Conduct depositions and prepare for mediations and court appearances.
- Analyze liability, damages, and coverage issues and negotiate resolutions.
Required profile
- J.D. degree and active New York bar admission.
- 2–6+ years of experience in tort or civil litigation (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong litigation, writing, and client communication skills.
