About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a dedicated General Neurologist to join its Baptist Hospital team. The physician will provide high‑quality neurological care while upholding Ochsner’s core values of patient‑first service, integrity, compassion, inclusivity, teamwork, and excellence.

Key responsibilities

Examine patients, make diagnoses and prescribe appropriate treatments.
Document patient encounters and maintain accurate coding in the Electronic Health Record.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Order additional evaluations, make referrals, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

Board certified or eligible in Neurology.
Licensed MD/DO with active credentialing and willingness to maintain clinical practice.

Required skills

Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
Medical coding of patient visits.
