General Manager - Service & Solutions

About the role

KONE is seeking an accomplished business leader to serve as General Manager – Service & Solutions for its Orange County operation in Costa Mesa, California. The role has overall responsibility for the performance of KONE’s local service and modernization business, including planning, financial results, customer relationships, safety, quality and market development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual business plan, operating and orders budgets, using financial and operational analysis to drive decisions.
• Lead service operations, service sales and modernization sales, driving orders, pricing discipline, field productivity and quality performance.
• Serve as senior KONE representative for customers and stakeholders, building relationships, expanding market share and improving customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety compliance with KONE policies, the Code of Conduct and applicable regulations.
• Lead and develop a cross‑functional management team, overseeing staffing, talent development, performance management and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Progressive leadership experience managing people, budgets and business plans in a service‑oriented, consultative selling environment.
• Experience leading a union‑represented workforce and working with labor relations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; seven or more years of related‑industry experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong ability to use financial and operational data to make decisions and drive change.
