General Maintenance Technician

About the role

Oregano’s Pizza Bistro is looking for a hands‑on General Maintenance Technician to keep restaurant facilities safe, functional, and attractive across multiple store locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform drywall repairs, surface finishing, tile and window replacements, basic carpentry, and general handyman tasks.
• Support delivery, placement, and installation of furniture and operational equipment.
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and hardware troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in compliance with safety regulations and PPE guidelines.
• Travel between assigned restaurant locations, loading and unloading tools, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, auto insurance and reliable vehicle for transporting tools.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted (up to 100 lb with assistance) and perform tasks such as standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in high‑heat or noisy environments.

Required skills

• Basic carpentry, general maintenance, electrical and plumbing upkeep.
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, voltage meters and standard hardware.
• Basic computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
