About the role

As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician, you will work in a Best Buy store providing technology support and repairing customers' computers and other devices. You will deliver excellent customer experiences by listening to needs, troubleshooting issues, and following established repair procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments, make repair recommendations, and fix devices for customers in‑person and over the phone.
• Maintain consistent follow‑up rhythms to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate with fellow Geek Squad agents to document customer requests and repair actions accurately.
• Complete all repair tasks promptly and coordinate with leadership when challenges arise.
• Continuously update knowledge, skills, and certifications through training courses.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing technology products.
• Active interest in consumer electronics and ongoing learning.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
