Future Talent Co‑Op – Pharmaceutical Analysis & Digital Tech

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a 4‑6 month co‑op in our Pharmaceutical Analysis and Digital Technology (PADT) and Large Molecule Analytical (LMA) departments. You will work in state‑of‑the‑art labs across several U.S. sites, developing analytical methods that support drug substance and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methodologies for small molecules, biologics and vaccines using core instrumentation.
• Perform high‑throughput screening, molecular characterization, mass spectrometry, NMR, and separation‑based techniques.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and record experiments in electronic lab notebooks.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings in oral and written formats.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biological Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science or related field.
• Strong academic performance (GPA ≥ 3.0 preferred) and at least two years of study completed by June 2027.
• Available full‑time for 4‑6 months starting early to mid‑2027.

Required skills

• Basic laboratory skills and safe lab practices.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., mass spectrometry, NMR, chromatography).
• Data analysis and interpretation, including statistical methods and machine‑learning basics.
• Lab notebook documentation and scientific communication.
