Full‑Time Instructor – Architectural/Engineering Drafting

About the role

The College of New Mexico (CNM) is seeking a full‑time Instructor (Term 3) to teach Architectural and Engineering Drafting. The position supports CNM’s mission to change lives and build community through high‑quality instruction for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess assigned drafting courses.
• Create an inclusive learning environment for students, including those with disabilities.
• Develop and update syllabi, instructional materials, and curriculum to align with program outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student records, respond to inquiries, and hold regular office hours.
• Incorporate current technology and drafting software into classroom instruction.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and college service activities.
• Contribute to curriculum review, program outcome development, and accreditation requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality instruction to a diverse student population.
• Commitment to college service, curriculum development, and continuous improvement.
• Current professional credentials or licensure relevant to architectural/engineering drafting, as required by the program.
