Full‑time General Anesthesiologist – Tyler, TX

About the role

Christus Trinity Clinic in Tyler, Texas is seeking a full‑time General Anesthesiologist to join its 18‑year‑old department. The physician will work alongside experienced physicians and CRNAs in a collaborative environment, providing anesthesia services for inpatient and outpatient surgeries, endoscopy, electrophysiology, obstetrics, pulmonary, radiology and surgical oncology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties.
• Provide medical direction and supervision to CRNAs.
• Participate in on‑site call rotations (general, pediatric, cardiac) with a 1:16 call frequency.
• Maintain fair daily case assignments and avoid cherry‑picking cases.
• Contribute to a team‑oriented culture and uphold high quality patient care.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Texas medical license.
• Ability to work both independently (solo cases) and in a supervisory role.
• Team‑player attitude with flexibility and professionalism.

Required skills

• General anesthesia administration.
• Medical direction of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient surgical anesthesia.
