Full-Time Teller – Great Neck, NY

About the role

Santander is seeking a full‑time Teller to join its Great Neck branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly, accurate service while handling cash and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer appropriate product solutions.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Fluency in Farsi or Mandarin is preferred.
