Full-Time Outpatient Clinical Therapist

About the role

Clinton Counseling Center, a program of Comprehensive Youth Services, Inc., is seeking a Full‑Time Outpatient Clinical Therapist to deliver high‑quality therapeutic treatment for substance‑use and mental‑health clients in its small non‑profit clinic in Mount Clemens, MI.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient treatment for substance‑use and mental‑health clients.
• Complete intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver group and individual therapy.
• Manage discharge planning and maintain thorough clinical documentation.
• Advocate for clients requiring higher or different levels of care.

Required profile

• Hold an LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC credential.
• Possess a CAADC certification or be willing to submit an MCBAP development plan.
• Earned a clinical degree from an accredited university.
• Maintain a valid state‑issued clinical license.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong interpersonal and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Lived experience is encouraged.
