Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

The Clinton Counseling Center seeks a Front Desk Receptionist to provide professional administrative support to therapists, directors, and psychiatrists, ensuring smooth client interactions and office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, manage check‑ins, and maintain a welcoming front‑desk environment.
• Answer and route phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
• Maintain client records, file and scan documents, and process payments and insurance forms.
• Assist therapists and psychiatrists with administrative tasks, including prescription entry and medication monitoring.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure timely communication and workflow, and uphold privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42CFR).

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred (not required).
• Successful completion of a background check.
