Contractual Outpatient Therapist

About the role

Provide quality care for substance‑use and mental‑health clients in a small non‑profit outpatient clinic located in Mt Clemens, MI. As a contractual therapist you set your own schedule within the clinic’s operating hours (Mon‑Thurs 8‑9, Fri 8‑4, Sat 9‑1).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient treatment for substance‑use and mental‑health clients.
• Complete intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide group and individual therapy.
• Handle discharge planning and maintain thorough clinical documentation.
• Advocate for clients who need higher or different levels of care.

Required profile

• Hold an LLMSW/LMSW or LLPC/LPC credential.
• Possess a CAADC certification or be willing to submit an MCBAP development plan.
• Completed a clinical degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state‑issued clinical license with a clear criminal record.
• Strong interpersonal and diagnostic techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
