Full-Time MRI Technologist (Nights and Weekends)

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist who works nights and weekends. The technologist performs all MRI and MRA procedures and produces high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all MRI/MRA procedures: abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, breast and extremities
• Use knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to deliver quality images
• Apply advanced computer skills, including PACS and image manipulation for image enhancement
• Adjust MRI parameters to each patient's needs and support continuous quality improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Two years of college
• ARRT (R), (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification; a current Florida state license is required if holding only ARRT(MRI)
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• 2 years of experience performing MRI/MRA
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work nights and weekends in a physically demanding schedule

Required skills

• Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVM post-processing
• PACS and image manipulation
• Excellent verbal and written communication
