About the role
Lewiston-Porter is seeking a full‑time, probationary World Languages Teacher to deliver French instruction beginning in the 2026‑2027 school year. The position is a 1.0 FTE role focused on grades 7‑12.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess French language lessons for secondary students.
- Develop curriculum materials aligned with state standards.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty and participate in departmental meetings.
- Support extracurricular language activities as needed.
Required profile
- Valid New York State certification in French, grades 7‑12.
- Dual certification in French and Spanish, grades 7‑12, is preferred.
- Ability to start on September 1, 2026.
- Commitment to a full‑time, probationary appointment.
