Full-Time Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Full‑Time Forklift Operator to join our Portland service center. In this role you will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, operating the forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers using a forklift.
• Operate the forklift on a roofed dock while adhering to safety standards.
• Read and follow manifests to ensure correct shipment handling.
• Interact with computer displays to track inventory and shipment data.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.
