Full-Time Food Service Worker – Front-of-House

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Food Service Worker to join our team at a premier dining venue in New York City. The role involves preparing, presenting, and serving food while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store food following wrapping, dating, rotation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously, resolve concerns, and communicate with supervisors.
• Adhere to company service standards, inventory and cash control, and all sanitation and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous front‑of‑house experience is required.
• Ability to work full‑time, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours.
• Strong commitment to food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
