The nurse provides patient-centered care across multiple departments, including inpatient and outpatient settings, and floats between units to meet patient care needs and staffing demands. The schedule consists of variable shifts depending on departmental needs, with no travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across assigned departments
• Float between units to meet patient care needs and staffing demands
• Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Respond effectively in emergency and high-acuity situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Recent medical-surgical, emergency or critical care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within orientation
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 3 months
• Compliance with hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
• Successful criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening after offer
